Pretty Gift Bag

I have had these very pretty papers in my stash for what seem years...I am not a "cute" designer when it comes to my craft projects, so is it any wonder these have been neglected.
The challenge this month over at More Mixed Media is as always Anything Goes, but with a colour twist...and this month the twist is "Pastels"....so these papers were just perfect to use for my gift bag.

I mounted the pretty papers on to some white card adhered them to the front and  back of the bag.
For the front only I added a strip of lace to one side and then made a panel using white card, die cuts and a torn strip of paper from the same set.
The little white frame was treated to some lovely pale green gilding wax...I found an image on another sheet of paper, so trimmed that to fit in the frame.

I adhered the panel to the front of the bag, then added the frame, flowers and some gorgeous pearly white leaves.
To finish the bag I added some really vintage lace to the handle....
My friends birthday is today so this bag will be holding her birthday present....
Do pop over to the challenge..would be great to see you there...just click on the link below and it will take you straight to the challenge....
