My Vintage DT Make

So,another 2 weeks have gone by and we are now on our 3rd Challenge over at http://rheddandrosies.blogspot.co.uk/  The theme this time around is "Vintage/Shabby" so I have actually made a card, I'll give you a minute or two to pick yourself up off of the floor,lol. My creation started off as an atc, but it needed more,so hence the card. I'm quite pleased with the way it turned out, the Graphic45 papers are so delicious.I added my stick pins to the ribbon and flower to embellish it.

There is a fabby prize over at Rhedd & Rosies, in fact there is always a prize for the winner each fortnight. Our teamie Tina is offering a generous prize as you can see in the photo below.

I have noticed a lot of blogs have embedded comment boxes. Unfortunately you will not receive my comments, possibly other comments too. I had the same problem here on my own blog and was advised to use a "Pop Out Comment Box"

Just a selection of Paris Atcs

My goodness,this week has just flown by...roughly this time last year I was on my way for a weeks break in Somerest, it turned out to be the hottest week of the year and I had to go and buy some light clothing to see me through the week...yet look at our weather now,some places have loads of snow,down this way we have had really heavy rain.
I've popped in to post these few atcs on my blog, well I needed to really as I've not blogged for a week. I have done some decorating, so I've not been completely idle,lol. These atcs are from a set of 11 that I have made for a swap, the most I have made for one particular swap, good fun though. All the atc backgrounds were coloured using distress inks and all the images are stamped using my own stamps,no digi stamps. I then coloured the images using a damp brush and lifted the ink from the ink pads...gives a sort of watercolour effect, great for some one like me as I'm rubbish at "colouring in" lol.

A Sweet Little Flowery Twinchie

Sunday has just flown by...although I have spent quite a while just phaffing about. My back is giving me jip at the moment,so sitting and standing are both uncomfortable for me for any longer than 5-10 minutes. I'm hoping it will settle itself back down very soon.

So on to my post,this sweet little Twinchie is for the challenge over at   http://twinchie-twinchiehotmaillive.blogspot.co.uk/   The theme this month is " Flowers or Flower" so  I decided to use my Tapestry stamps that I'm ashamed to admit, haven't been used for yonks! I used distress inks for the foliage, Shabby Shutters and Peeled Paint....then Mahogany for the flowers. The pots and sentiment were stamped using black stazon ink, to finish I smudged some mahogany ink on dry foam around the edges to soften the look.

Use a Stamp

Here's my Heart...my entry for a challenge in a group on Facebook.The theme was to use a stamp, so I had a look through all my older stamps and found this one I bought yonks ago from Artistic Stamper, it's a wonder it's not perished it's that old,lol. The heart is made from grey board and I covered it in pretty backing paper. I stamped the image and then lightly shaded the hair, lips and eyes. Finally added the flowers and ribbon.

Vintage Tag Clipboard

I had such fun making this Tag Clipboard.It's my entry for the challenge over in the UK&Ireland Swap group on Facebook. I've used my new papers and some stamps to make all the notes,journal tabs etc. Finally adding the key on a chain,ribbon and flowers.
