Catch Up....

Thought I would pop in an post a few things I have made over the last weeks or so for my craft group challenges on facebook.
The top photo is an Atc that I made using my new stamps, love this Indigoblu stamp, although this is only a section of it, not the whole stamp.
The 2nd photo I made a Tag using my new Tim Holtz stamps...I have had them a while, but this is their first outing.
The 3rd photo is a card, for this I just used backing papers ( Tim Holtz Travel) made a topper with the rusty cars images and then just added a tag with a key...I actually won the group challenge with this was well made up,lol.

Just another little Twinchie

This is my 2nd entry for the new Twinchie Challenge Blog, the theme is anything goes. For this Twinchie I shaded the 2"x 2" square piece of mount board in a very light shade of pink. The stamp is an atc size, but  I  just wanted to use the face area of my stamp...I have to admit I did do a couple of dummy runs on some spare card to make sure I got the face central on the twinchie, not easy as its a rubber stamp, so not transparent like the acrylic ones, lol. I then tinted the image using a damp brush and picking up the distress ink from the ink pads.
Do pop along to   and have a look at the dt makes and the other entries,it really is surprising just how much you can do with a 2" square.

Some Good News & My Dt Make.

I applied for a spot on the Design Team over at Eclectic Ellapu...I was over the moon when Elaine emailed me an invite to join her team.
There are 2 design teams over at Eclectic Ellapu, The Pink Team, which is the one I am in and The Purple Team.
This week it's the turn of the Pink team to set the challenge and Elaine chose  "Anything Goes" you can find the challenge here   Do pop over, you'll see the team's fabulous makes.
My Dt make is a heart shaped box which I decoupatched in this rather gorgeous floral tissue. I added the gold lace trim around the lip of the lid and then attached the flowers and stick pins, I was pleased with the finished look.

A little Button......

Just a quick post...these are 6 Atcs made for a swap. The theme is "Use a Button, Real or Faux" Well, I didn't fancy using a sewing theme, I wanted something more in the way of Vintage, so here are my creations that I made today, complete with a button.
I must add that the 2 male passport pictures are by Darkroom Door, my friend Moira sent me a whole sheet of them ages ago and to my shame I had forgotten all about them, until this morning, when I found them in among some backing papers.

My Little Vintage Box.

Time really has got the better of me this know when you want to get so much done,  but in reality you've achieved very little..... anyway enough moaning from me, here is my little vintage box, it's got a super little window in the lid, so I found a lovely Crafty Individual printed image to fit in there.
The box I decoupatched with cream and black tissue, it really is very pretty, then once dry I rubbed some Inka Gold in to the creases and along the edges, although I'm sorry to say only one of the photo's picked that up. Then I added the lace to trim the base of the box.For the top I've used some ready made flowers, just twisted them together, snipped off the surplus wire and hot glued them to the box, adding a black bow. Finally I added the vintage butterfly with 2 gold beads for its body.
No doubt my daughter will snag this box,lol...

Gorgeous Lady...Twinchie size....

My second post of the day...I am doing well, lol.
This is my Twinchie for the new challenge Wonderful news for me as I love making them and the other challenge blog,Show us your Twinchies is closing. I hope you like this one as much as I enjoyed making it.

Tea anyone?

Well, this is a first for me, a Shabby Chic Tea Bag Holder. I've never made one before. I found the details for this style over on youtube, there other styles but this one has got 2 pockets, the back is identical to the front. I've used the double sided paper from the Rose Garden Premium paper pad. I did trim the paper from 8"x8" down to 6"x6" otherwise the pockets would have been too big for the tea bags, Earl Grey ones at that, lol.
I'm just off now to make a cuppa too...

( Hi Jenny,I'm waving...x)

Enter the Dragon

There is  nothing Oriental about this gorgeous Dragon,lol...he is my DT make for the new challenge that's just started over at
The theme is Fantasy/Mythical.
I printed my digi on to printable acetate then coloured it using Twinkling H2O paints....unfortunately the photo dosen't show the shimmer of the paints. I then adhered the acetate to some white card, I didn't use a coloured background as I wanted the Dragon to stand out.
This Digi Stamp is one from Rick St.Dennis, the fabby sponsor for this challenge and he allowed the design team a choice of 4 images for this theme.
You can see the other images the team have used over on the challenge blog and you will also see 3 new dt members samples too.
Rick is offering 3 Digi Stamps to the Winners,so well worth entering, everyone is in with a chance. It's an Anything Goes Blog, so make anything you want so long as it's within the theme.
Here's a link to Ricks Etsy Store where he has all his gorgeous Digi Stamps.

Heart & Swirls

It's the middle of the night and my brain wouldn't shut down enough for me to I decided to get my project finished, saves me doing it later on this morning. This is an mdf wooden heart, which I covered in torn patterned tissue papers and modge podge. I left it for several hours to make sure it was completely dry before adding the inka gold to give it that gorgeous antique shimmery look.I also coloured the flourish with inka gold to keep the same gold tone. To finish I then added the flowers and some pale gold ribbon. This is my entry for the challenge over at   their theme is Heart and Swirls.
