The 5th Challenge is now up and running over at http://rheddandrosies.blogspot.co.uk/ a great theme chosen by our teamie Tina...Stitching ( Real or Faux). This is my DT make, one of my favourite stamps. I've added the corners and flowers and my own stick pins. I did stamp the bodice of the dress form and labels to give the image a bit of a boost. I am pleased with the result. Do pop over and have a look at the challenge, there's another great prize on offer ( picture below) by our lovely Teamie Moira....

What a Beauty
You have to agree Betty Grable was beautiful...this is her doing her famous pose, lol. This atc is another that I have made for the challenge over at http://visibleimage.blogspot.co.uk/2013/04/get-stamping-with-visible-image-april.html
The stamps I have used for the background are from the Mens Collage and the sentiment is from the Time Set. Visible Image stamps are really great to use. Betty Grable is one of my own stamps from my stash and even though she is in her swimming costume and the background is a car,t ime and script, it seems to work.

Make a Wish
I'm rather liking this Dandelion stamp...it's by Inkyliscious and this is the first time I've used it. It's been in a drawer in my craft room for ages, lol. I've used some backing papers from my stash...again I've had these quite a while and because they were loose in my paper box, I can't tell you the make. The ribbon was just perfect for this card, one of those colours that rarely get used and is pushed to the back of the cupboard, shame on me!
To make the coloured circle behind the dandelion, I just cut a circle out of spare card and used that as a stencil, dabbing distress inks for the colour.
I am entering this card in the challenge here http://sketchandstashchallenge.blogspot.co.uk/

Listen to the Sea....
As a child, did you ever hold a seashell to your ear so you could hear the sea? I know I did. I spent most of my childhood (weather permitting) on the beach and in the sea. Even now I prefer to swim in the sea, rather than a swimming pool.
On then to my Atc. I just love this stamp, with its lovely shell, in fact the stamp is too large for an atc, so this is a section of it. I used sequin waste as a mask for the background, using Broken China and Wild Honey distress inks. Then I stamped just the shell and on a piece of lightweight card that I'd shaded with the wild honey ink. After cutting around the shell,I applied more ink around the edge to make it a little darker. The shell is attached to the atc with some thin sticky foam pads as I didn't want it standing too proud off the atc
I am entering this atc in to the challenge over at

A Man of Numbers
This is an Atc I have made for the challenge over at Visible Image. The theme is "Get Stamping"...so I just just couldn't resist entering the challenge. I have used Visible Image Stamps for the background, the stamps are the "Time after Time" set and the "Mens Collage" the stamps are just fabulous and these particular ones are my favourites.
You can find the challenge here....http://visibleimage.blogspot.co.uk/2013/04/get-stamping-with-visible-image-april.html

A Little Circus Atc.
I've finally got to use my Tim Hotlz Circus Stamp again, this is it's second outing, lol. A perfect stamp to use for the theme over at http://outofahatcreations.blogspot.co.uk/
For the background of my Atc I used some sequin waste and dabbed Broken China and Mahogany distress inks all over the atc. then used my stamp, which is the perfect size for the atcs. The ticket stamp comes from a circus set by Artistic Outpost, so I stamped that on some card I'd coloured with Mahogany distress ink.

Vintage Leading Ladies
Just a quick post to show you some Atcs that I've made today. They are for a swap and I've made 10, lol. The theme is Vintage Leading Ladies. The top row is Ingrid Bergman, the stamps were from my Casablanca set, I've added a layer for Ingrid's picture and stamp above that and coloured it for more interest. The next one is the very gorgeous Marlene Deitricht. Her image I've had for such a long time and I kept it in a folder for future use.The bottom row has Marlene again and finally the fabulous Betty Grable in her famous pose. This is a stamped image of Betty and I have used it alongside the beach hut stamps from my stash.

"Tag it" Altered CD
Go Me...lol...this is my 2nd post today.Honestly I do tend to go from one extreme to the other, lol.
This is an altered CD I've done using those fabby Graphic45 papers. I've made this for my entry for the challenge over at http://eclecticellapu.blogspot.co.uk/. The theme is "Tag It" so for my Tag I've used the original one from the papers, stiffened it by gluing it on to some card and added an eyelet. To finish the tag used a Tim Holtz link chain and an old key.

A Smaller Peg!
Well, this size peg is quite a fiddly thing to alter, unlike my big pegs. I've been slacking recently in entering some of the blog challenges,so I had a browse through my list and decided on the challenge over at http://outofahatcreations.blogspot.co.uk/ The theme for their challenge was to alter a peg or paper clip. I opted for the peg, mainly because it is a little larger than a paper clip and easier for me to use given that I've got quite big hands, lol
Time for lunch, then I'll be off to craft for the afternoon....
( Hi Jenny, hope all is well, waving to you my friend xx )

Guest Designer Spot
I was over the moon when I received an email from Eileen over at "Show Us Your Twinchies" asking me if I would do a guest spot on the blog. It's been a very long time since I was a guest designer on any blog, so I feel rather privileged to have been asked.
I made 3 Twinchies for the April Theme which is "Spring"....I do so love these little pieces of art. Please do pop along to http://twinchie-twinchiehotmaillive.blogspot.co.uk/ and have a look at all the design team entries, they are stunning...maybe you would like to take part in the challenge as well.

A "Spring" Atc
This is an Atc that I made for a challenge, the theme was "Spring" So I rooted through some of my many stamps and while doing so remembered this one that I had as a freebie from Paperartsy last year.
I think its such a fabulous stamp and the perfect size for an atc. Love the vintage postage stamp, which I stamped on a different colour background, then added. The words were cut from an old nature book that came from a charity shop, well I'm not cutting up any of my own books, lol.

"Green" Altered CD
It's time I bought my blog up to date with a few things I've been making. This is an altered cd I made for a group swap, the theme was to use green,so I decided to use my new Grahic45 papers. The papers are stunning and the tabs are gorgeous.I added some lace and then cut out 2 of the sunflowers that I layered and added to finish the piece off....I didn't win the challenge though...sob...lol.
