Tags...Anything Goes

 Time again for another challenge over at Tag Tuesday. The last 2wks seemed to have flown by, edging nearer and nearer to Christmas, ho, ho, ho.

It was my turn to chose the theme this time around and I decided to go with Anything Goes, I quite often like a free for all theme, just to see what people create when they don't have to follow a theme.

I have made 2 Tags, the first is one that I covered in some Rice Papers I made last week using napkins,tissues,paints,tea,coffee,water and diluted pva glue, all good messy fun.

The rice paper was made from a napkin, once I covered the tag with it I randomly stamped some numbers and inks blots on it to add more interest to the base.

I used washi tape so I could sit one of the Tim Holtz figures on and then added the words. This tag really is a Limited Edition as it's the first try of using my home made rice paper.

For my second Tag I used book paper to cover the tag and added some vintage lace to the bottom edge.

I mounted one of Tim Holtz's photo booth picture of this pretty girl and added her to my tag.

I found a strip of muslin which I tied around the tag and then added the flowers...which, would you believe, are an old pair of earrings that I found in a charity shop. I just snipped the backs off.

I love that they are chipped from being worn so much, just adds a little more vintage to the tag.

Postcard Art

 Just dropped in the share my postcard.

I'm entering it in to the challenge over at Sunday Postcard Art where the theme this week is Vintage

I cut my postcard to size 4"x6" and layered up some of my handmade rice paper. I am delighted with the result.

Next I added some vintage postage stamps and the images of the 2 girls as well as the pattern number.

The images were from an old dress making pattern wallet, I thought they would look perfect against my background.

Here are the rice papers I  made, I shall definitely be making some more that's for sure!

Halloween Atc

 Those that remember know that I have always liked creating Artist Trading Cards.

Over the years I have been in several groups and been involved in a lot of swaps.

I came across this Atc Challenge Blog a while back, even entered a couple of times and have decided that I will play along on a regular basis.

This month their theme is Halloween. So I rooted through my stash and created this Atc.

I started with a yellow atc and mounted some halloween paper on it. The label was rubber stamped on to some orange card and layered up on white and black card.

The face was stamped and then coloured, the photo doesn't really show how green the eyes are!

I decided to add the spider at the last minute,lol.

Atc with a Heart

Autumn Colours

 Good  Morning, hope everyone is tickety boo today.

I'm posting my 2 Tags to inspire folk to join in with the current challenge over at Tag Tuesday. 

The theme, chosen by our lovely Valerie is Autumn Colours, unfortunately Valerie has been quite poorly and was in hospital. She is at home now resting and getting better, so for now I'm helping with the challenge blog.

On both Tags I have created an autumnal background using distress inks, then stamping over once the inks were dry.

I do hope you can come over and join us, the challenge runs for 2 weeks.

You can use any sized Tag and any medium, however your entry must be a Tag.

Another Spooky Tag.

 I've crafted another Tag for the challenge over at Tag Tuesday

Our lovely Michele chose the theme of Something Spooky and has created a few Tags for your inspiration, so if you can do pop over and take a look.

Unfortunately the Mr Linky tool isn't in situ at the moment because our fab boss lady Valerie is in hospital.

Something Spooky....

 Happy Saturday Folks, looking like a lovely day from where I am sitting, so I am going to pop out for a few hours, but wanted to post my Tag before I do.

The theme this time around at Tag Tuesday was chosen by teamie Michele.

Something Spooky...I have done my best to be a little scary, lol.
