Come for Tea!

My weekend was turned upside down, I had planned family time, one grandson was called in to work, the other is spending the weekend with his dad and my daughter decided to stay at a friends for a couple of there was nothing else for me to do but craft.
I've managed to get a few swaps finished, I can't post the photos yet though as they've not be sent to my swap partners yet...but I can show you my Tea Pot Plaque

I gessoed the teapot to seal it, then using grunge paste and my stencil I textured it with the dots. Once dried I then used Plum Twist Cosmic Shimmer Mist (not that you can see must of a shimmer in the photos, sorry)

When that was dry (speeded it up using my heat tool) I made a mini doilie from some lace and glued that to the teapot, sorted a couple of flowers to match, then hot glued them in place.
Next was the verse, which I sourced from google, the poem is by Emilie Barnes, so all credit goes to her as it was just perfect for my needs.
I matted and layered the verse and added it to the teapot.
Finally I had a rummaged around as I remembered I had a teapot charm,it was just the right size to put on the verse tab.

This is the blank Tea measures approximately15cms x 12cms ( 6" x 5" )
