Christmas Postcard Plaque

I decided to make this little plaque for the challenge over at Crafty Individuals, which you can find here... Crafty Individuals
This one of the stamps I bought from them last year and I just love it.

The plaque is made from cardboard, I tore off the top layer to reveal the corrugation, which I swiped with gesso.
Then I layered up using different fabrics and some lace.

I stamped the image twice on some cream card and once dry added some colour and glitter, I layered the lady section on a foam pad to give it a bit of height.

I adhered the stamped image to the plaque and finished it all off by adding a little bit of chain, ribbon and a snowflake.

This is one of my all time favourite CI stamps so it is always lovely to see it being the focal on a piece of art.
Gorgeous! This has many of my favourites (beyond the stamp, corrugated cardboard, lace, all so lovely.
