Random Atcs

Hello from a wet and blustery part of Devon...at least the wind isn't so fierce as it was last night,I thought the roof was going to come off, lol.
These are 3 Atcs I made, just random, didn't actually intend making them, but I started playing with my distress inks pads shading the blanks, then had a play with my new Inkyliscious stamps I bought from Westpoint in Exeter last week. I made one, then another, then another lol...so I thought I would offer them up on my facebook page...https://www.facebook.com/SandiesSpace?ref=hl.....a good excuse to promote it, maybe get a few more likes.
These have now been awarded to some one,but I think I may do a similiar thing on here in a few days time, so please pop by over the next few days and have a look.

Sweet Fairy

After the storm we had here last night,we have woken up to a lovely sunny day...english weather really is so unpredictable. So nice to have it bright because I hate switching on lights during the day when the weather is so dull.
On to my Twinchie...this is my 3rd and last one for the current challenge over at   http://twinchie-twinchiehotmaillive.blogspot.co.uk/   If you enjoy making small things, why not pop along and enter the challenge....x

Garden Secret,lol

Another Twinchie for the challenge over at  http://twinchie-twinchiehotmaillive.blogspot.co.uk/. This is a section of a stamp that I bought ages ago from Crafty Individuals...it wasn't so much the image that I like, but the sentiment, it's just great., makes me smile anyway.
I added colour using a damp brush and distress ink pads.

My Vintage Twinchie

It's been ages since I last made a Twinchie...I do love these little works of art. For this one I stamped the image, then gently shaded it,trying for the vintage look...I think I have succeeded. I covered the blank twinchie with a scrap piece of vintage backing paper and then used walnut stain ink to distress the edges, finally adding the bow charm.
I'm entering this Twinchie in to the challenge over at http://twinchie-twinchiehotmaillive.blogspot.co.uk/ the theme is "Anything Goes"
You are allowed to enter 3 times so I have numbered this twinchie No1 as I intended entering another 2.

Little Vintage Travel Book

I had internet connection problems for several days last week, so I busied myself in the craft room. This is the first thing I made...a little Vintage Travel Book. It measures 3"x3" and each page is made from really thick board. I covered each page with papers from Tim Holtz Destination Papers, which are just fabulous. then I used walnut distress ink around the edges of each page as well as the front and back covers.
Also from the paper pad I used scraps to make a couple of triangle pockets and a mini envelope so I could add tags and travel information, as well as adding some of the super vintage photo prints.
For this little book I used some lovely old style string rather than rings...seemed more in keeping with the style if you know what I mean.

My Emblies DT Piece...Boys & Men

It's been a while since I last posted here, a few things had sent my mojo packing so I've only just been relaxed enough to craft again.
First and foremost I must let you know that the new challenge over at http://crafty-emblies.blogspot.co.uk/ is up and running. The theme this time is Boys and Men...
For my DT piece I painted and covered a 4" wooden cube. Distressed all the edges and then had great fun embellishing it with Tags, Sentiment and of course those gorgeous Emblies.
As always there is a fabulous prize on offer,so please pop over and have a look.
Over at Crafty-Emblies Blog,we now have a a lovely group of ladies who have joined our Design Team, so I shall be looking forward to working with them next month.

On a sad note, I have had to close Craftymess Challenge Blog, I feel at this time I could no longer give it 110%, there were other contributing factors, so I thought the best thing to do was close and re-charge my batteries. At some point in the future I could well revamp the old blog and maybe pick up the reigns again.

As always,Thank You to All that drop by my blog and leave such lovely comments.
Love n' hugs...x
