Hello from a very cold Devon today..no snow yet though, unlike some other parts of the UK.
I want to share my design team project for Fernli Designs with you all. You can tell from the video that I still have a lot to learn about making a video, but hopefully I've done enough for you to enjoy.

True Friends.

Just dropping in with a quickie tag I have made for the current challenge over at Tag Tuesday
The theme is New Beginnings and was chosen by Valerie....so anything new qualifies.

The rubber stamp I have used is new to me..I bought it in a bundle of unused stamps from a declutter group on facebook..it is now one of my favourites...reminds me of my grandsons and great grandsons.
I stamped the image, then coloured the clothing..finally distressing the edges of the tag...

New Beginnings...

Tag Tuesday are currently running their first challenge for 2019....and the host this time is Valerie.
Her theme is New Beginnings..and by her definition you can create your tag using whatever you like, so long as it is new....

Here is my Tag....

My new item is the lovely vintage backing paper. I was given a bundle of paper pads for christmas and I particularly liked this paper because of the advertising of the hot air balloon.

Chunky Atc

My first design team project for 2019 and it's for More Mixed Media.
The challenge there this month is Mixed Media with an optional twist..and the twist is BLUE
I coloured some card with ink spray in blue and covered the chunky atc.

I then stamped the fabulous fish and sentiment and left the ink to thoroughly dry. Once dry I used peeled paint to stamp the seaweed randomly all over the chunky Atc.
I coloured the fish in bright colours to make it really stand out.

I'm keeping this chunky atc as it makes a great paper weight...
