Ladybird,ladybird, fly away home....

A fun theme over at Tag Tuesday this time around.

LADYBIRDS...and the theme was chosen by Wendy.

I've never had to create anything using ladybirds, so it was a challenge even for me,lol.

The tag base was created with background stamps and the inks through a stencil.

The sunflowers have been layered up and the ladybirds once trimmed were given little antennea.

Do pop along  to our challenge, we would love to see you there..you can find us here at

Recycled Tags for Alice.

It feels like summer is on it's way out today, breezy, showers and very much cooler, which suits me better. I am here to share with you the trio of tags I have made for the challenge over at Tag Tuesday. The theme was chosen by Michele for this challenge and it worked out perfect for me because I recently placed a craft order for some new paper pads and die cuts and one set was Alice in Wonderland.I have used some great sturdy clothing tags from my great grandsons t-shirts...they are perfect for recycling as they withstand anything you throw at them.

I covered each tag with backing papers then I added some images that I cut from the paper pad cover as well as some of the die cuts...

If you have anything "Alice" related, why not pop over and join in with our challenge. You can find us here at TAG TUESDAY

Brights.....

Hello...today is the start of this months challenge over at More Mixed Media.
As always it is Mixed Media, but with a colour twist...and this time the option is "Brights"
For my design team project I have used a selection of wooden blocks, these I bought from a charity shop, a huge bag of them, they will last me for years I think, lol.
I covered each of the brick fronts with card that was left over from another project where I used oxide inks, adding stamped images to build up a background.
I did the same with the roof sections too, but for this I used plain blue card that I added inks through a stencil and then distressing  the edges all around.

I added the people and then the sentiments and embellishments to the roof fronts.
So do you think these are "bright" enough, lol...
Please pop over and join in with our challenge, it will run for 4 weeks, so plenty of time to create.
