Little Vintage Travel Book

I had internet connection problems for several days last week, so I busied myself in the craft room. This is the first thing I made...a little Vintage Travel Book. It measures 3"x3" and each page is made from really thick board. I covered each page with papers from Tim Holtz Destination Papers, which are just fabulous. then I used walnut distress ink around the edges of each page as well as the front and back covers.
Also from the paper pad I used scraps to make a couple of triangle pockets and a mini envelope so I could add tags and travel information, as well as adding some of the super vintage photo prints.
For this little book I used some lovely old style string rather than rings...seemed more in keeping with the style if you know what I mean.
