My Valentine

I wanted to blog these Atcs earlier today, but I've had a rotten and family issues have had me in tears today...
Feeling slightly better tonight and I've booked myself a day out tomorrow, just me on my own.
These 3 Atcs were made for a swap, the theme was Love/Valentine.

For this Atc I used distress ink for the atc then gessoed a piece of cardboard that I had stripped back. I added some scrim and silver mesh, then the heart, which I made using a free stamp from the Craft Stamper finish I wrapped some raffia around the topper then adhered it to the atc.

This atc was covered with backing paper, then I added the image, which is a freebie I had in my stash. The sentiment was computer generated. To finish I added the lace and the trim of rhinestones.

This atc has one of my favourite images...again a freebie from my stash, mounted on some brown card.
The base of the atc was shaded using distress ink, then I added some lace and the images...again the heart was made by using a freebie stamp from the craft stamper magazine.

The silver netting behind the red heart makes it look so gorgeous . I hope you feel better...a day out to pamper yourself sounds good!!

Only just seen this. Hope you feel better now. When I first moved to Sheffield I was alone on Valentines so I took myself into town and meandered around the museums and art galleries, it was so relaxing. Then I soaked up the atmosphere of the fun fair and street markets in the city centre. It was a wonderfulday!!
These ATCs are fab, I admire your style. My favourite is the Eiffel Tower.
Love and hugs, Marie xx
