My design team project is a Mixed Media Canvas.....the canvas is deep edged and measures 8"x 8"
I added texture to the canvas and once dry I added the rest of the elements, mesh and floral lace, leaving the centre area clear of any embellishing.
While the canvas was drying I set to and altered 9 MDF tiles,using embossed card that I coloured and highlighted with gilding wax.
I then added the tiles to a thin square of MDF, that I sealed with gesso...I now had my centre piece ready

I then left it to completely dry overnight before adding my center piece.....finally I highlighted some areas of the canvas with gilding wax.

I just found your blog and I absolutely love your projects. The canvas is amazing. I also really enjoyed the altered paper clips. I had never heard of this until I found your blog. They are really quite amazing and I also love the index cards.
