Michele's Buttons & Bows.

 I ventured in to my craft room, I wasn't there for very long, just enough time to get a Tag made for Michele's theme over at Tag Tuesday

I've not been well for almost 3wks,culminating in a bout of suspected food poisoning that took me off my feet for days.

Thankfully I am feeling a bit better, but I think it will be a few more days before I am back to normal.

 I  didn't want to let a fellow team  mate down on the design team at Tag Tuesday 

So here is my Tag....I decided to go with the theme of London, what with the Queens Platinum Jubilee coming up very soon.

Add some Stencilling

 It's been a while since I last posted, my hands have been pretty painful recently, so I took time out from crafting to give them a rest.

Over at Tag Tuesday, it's Pinky's turn to host the current challenge and her theme is to add some Stenciling. 

Now Stenciling isn't something I do a lot of, but I do have a stack of stencils, some bought, some gifted to me by my friend.

The stencil I have used is a section of a Mandela and I used different colours to make it stand out more.

I stamped some script and some grunge over the stenciling then stamped the images.

I stamped the paint tubes again on some spare card, coloured them and added them to my tag with sticky pads.

There is still about a week left before the challenge ends, so time enough if you would like to join in.

Animal Tags, wild or tame.

 Time again for another fun challenge over at Tag Tuesday.

The theme this time around was chosen by me and is Animals, wild or tame. Definitely no insects though.

I love animals, I often prefer them to people, animals are so loyal.

Over the years, while my children were growing up, we had many pets, cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils and several others. Each pet was loved and we were loved in return by them.

It is interesting now that many places, hospitals, care homes, schools etc, use animals to help with sick people, often with very good results, animals are very therapeutic.

My first tag is a Vintage Circus tag, back in the day there were many animals that made up a circus.

My 2nd project is actually an MDF Circle Tag Book that I made.

I wanted to keep the images in monochrome to give it a Vintage look.

The MDF tags and the circle tags ready for stamping on to.

Each tag was stamped using a different animal image.

The Circle Tag Book assembled, I just love that elephant and her baby.

Thistle Tag

Just popping in to share my Tag that I have made for Valerie's theme over at Tag Tuesday

She has chosen Blue and Green as her theme.

The tag itself was coloured using oxide inks in green and blue and spritzed with water, although in some areas it looks very yellowy, over that I stamped different text and numbers.

I also used oxide coloured card, again spritzed with water, to create the topper, then stamping my image once it was dry.

To finish I added some sisal strands and some coloured matted sisal strip in light and dark green.

Another Face Tag

 Oh my days, the noise here so early in the morning is quite scary. 3 men in my small bathroom are ripping out the bath and putting in a walk in shower.

Sounds like they are coming through to the lounge,lol.

So while I sit and clam down I thought I would post my 2nd Tag for Wendy's theme over at Tag Tuesday.

I covered my tag with book print and then used this lovely stamps over the top, isn't she cute.

At  guess the stamp could be by Paperbag Studio.

Face Tag

It's Wendy's turn to choose the theme and she has chosen FACES..so out came my stamps.lol.

I love this image and although its almost a square stamp,it worked perfectly on my large round tag.
