A Little Trinket Box

My mojo just upped and left before I could add any more embellishing to my little trinket box...don't you just hate it when that happens!

This little box ( measures 4.5" x 4.5" )  is my design team piece for Rhedd & Rosie's Challenge that started today. I had stained the box with Barn Door distress ink then went over it with some gold gilding wax to antique it a bit.
The canvas insert in the lid I covered with lace and then gessoed it all over, once dry I used a light gold Glimmer Mist spray to colour it.I got as far as adding the flowers and old Mr Mojo just chose that moment to disappear...sob.
So all that was added were the corner pieces and the clock...I had ideas for a vintage image, but the more I played the more of a mess I made,so it was best to leave it as it was...hope you like it.

A fabulous prize for the winner of the challenge, which is sponsored by our lovely resident teamie MOIRA

Well worth entering the challenge for, why not pop over for a look....you can find the challenge HERE

Your box looks gorgeous. Perhaps your mojo upped and left because it decided that it was perfect as it is and didn't need anything else.

I love the way the bold red and yellow roses stand out against the neutral background. Blessings!

Don't you hate it when the mojo just dies?? When that happens I think it's a sign to put it aside and leave well enough alone... if you push it, it never looks quite right.
I love the little box just like it is :)
